What does the $200 Protection Plan include?
The Space Protection Plan provides device protection for the Space Safe biometric smart safe, including covered accidental damage and mechanical breakdowns. It is one four-year Protection Plan for one Space Safe, available in the U.S. only. It includes:
- 3 years of extended warranty coverage for covered mechanical and electrical failures after the original warranty period.
- 4 years of broader protection for covered parts and battery failures.
- Accidental damage, including cracked screens and other covered handling damage.
- A $0 deductible on approved claims.
What happens after I add The Protection Plan?
After checkout, you are automatically enrolled and receive a welcome email with your plan details and any required next steps. The plan term begins on the date of purchase and is available only in the United States. See the complete plan terms for all coverage details.

How do I file a claim?

Will my Safe be repaired or replaced?
Approved claims are resolved with the appropriate repair or replacement under the plan terms. When replacement is the approved resolution, the replacement is a new Space Safe of the same model and quality. Claims are typically resolved within 48 hours, often the same day. The Protection Plan is available in the U.S. only.
Are there claim limits?
The number of claims is unlimited. However, each approved claim is subject to the applicable repair or replacement value limit, and the combined value of all approved claims cannot exceed the covered value of the Space Safe. For example, multiple approved screen repairs would each count toward that total until the aggregate benefit is exhausted.
