How many shelves can be installed inside our biometric smart gun safe?
The Space Safe allows for one shelf to be installed in each biometric smart gun safe. The shelf can be placed on the preinstalled shelf brackets which are located in a fixed position nearly halfway up the interior of the safe.
Is the clear shelf adjustable in size?
The clear shelf for your safe is a fixed size of 14 inches long, 8 inches wide, and 0.25 inches thick. We only sell one size, and if you want a shelf that can store something heavier, we do recommend purchasing your own shelf with a thicker thickness. Just remember, the shelf was designed to fit snugly inside biometric smart gun safes and provide enough space for most items. If you're looking for a shelf to hide and properly store your gun or other items, this is for you.
Is the shelf's location fixed or can the height be adjusted?
The brackets that support the shelf are fixed and cannot be adjusted. The interior holes that hold the brackets in place are predrilled and the brackets are fixed by screws during production to accommodate the shelf. Therefore, the interior brackets cannot be moved to a different height.
Can the clear shelf support the weight of different types of firearms and accessories?
Theoretically yes. As long as the dimensions for the item you are storing is evenly distributed, and the items' weight is not just stored in the center of the shelf, then yes the clear shelf can support the weight of different gun safe accessories. , as long as they do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of the safe. As long as the item(s) are evenly distributed, the clear shelf has a capacity of 50 pounds to properly store your items. Please don't forget, it is a thin shelf designed for elegance and functionality and if most of the weight is focused on the center of your shelf, you will notice the shelf may sag. We've designed the safe and the shelf to hold your values and keep them in good condition for years.

Is the clear shelf removable and can it be easily cleaned?
Yes! You can remove the clear shelf in a matter of 2 seconds and the shelf can be easily cleaned. Simply rotate the shelf 45 degrees from the left side making sure the left side goes up and the right side goes down, then you can easily slide the shelf out. Once removed, wipe the shelf with a soft microfiber cloth or lint-free cloth to remove any dust or fingerprints from the surface of the shelf. If you find the shelf is not clean enough to your liking, use mild soap and water to wipe off whatever is bothering you. Just make sure not to leave any residue on the shelf, because that will show up if you use the camera's live stream.
